A referral is required to be seen by Dr. Micallef. Please follow up with your family doctor, pediatrician, or visit a walk-in clinic to request a referral. Referral forms are available here.
If your primary care provider has faxed in a referral, please allow up to two weeks for a decision. If accepted, you will receive information via email or phone on how to book your appointment. If the referral is not accepted, your family doctor will be notified. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide updates on the status of your referral.

About Dr. Johann Micallef
Dr. Micallef earned a PhD in neuro-oncology from the University of Toronto and completed his neurology residency at BC Children's Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. With experience treating both paediatric and adult patients with headaches, concussions, and epilepsy, Dr. Micallef has developed expertise in these areas. Known for his kind and caring approach, Dr. Micallef is dedicated to listening to patients and working closely with them to create personalized treatment plans that prioritize their well-being and quality of life.
